How do I receive my certificate once I pass the exam?
If you have taken and passed both exams, please check the candidate handbook for specific information on your state's registry. If you need to renew your certification in PA, SC, or for a DC nurse aide, please log into your account and navigate to the registry tab to apply for renewal.
What is the CNA State Registry?
The CNA State Registry is an official list of certified nurse aides (CNAs) who are authorized to work in a specific state. When you pass your state’s CNA exam and meet all certification requirements, your name and certificate number are added to your state’s Nurse Aide Registry.
You can use the registry to:
- Verify your CNA certification status
- Find your certificate number
- Ensure your certification is active
- Provide proof of eligibility for employment
To locate your registry, search for your state CNA Registry below or select your State Nursing Board Registries to view your status.
